The tyre
with lateral traction
In response
to the growing demand for tyres that can go anywhere (off road), but with
behaviour just as good on the road (on road), Rechapal has designed new RECIP
tyre with innovative characteristics.
Idealized
starting from the sport modality, cross - country racing " TRIAL 4X4 ". RECIP TRIAL meets
the most demanding performance standards, over a great diversity of terrain:
mud, sand, stone, as well as step ascents and descents.
The concept
was imported from the USA,
where tyres with lateral treads are widely accepted for cross country driving.
The concept has been created with unique characteristics that better adapt to
the needs and tastes of the users.
TREAD WELL
DEFINED - UNIDIRECCIONAL -. 18mm of
depth tread -. Wide treads
and rotation sense provide excellent performance under all conditions. -. The V
shaped tread with transverse furrows facilitate the expulsion of water. - Circumferential treads, as in the tractor
tyres, provide excellent grip and traction. ADDITIONAL
RIM PROTECTION
- Protects
the rim and the lateral zone of the tyre avoiding stones getting stuck in the
tread
LATERAL
PROTECTION
- The
extended tread to the side of the tyre wall, protects the shoulder and the
sidewall of the tyre at any angle.
INNOVATIVE
LATERAL WALL
-The
extended tread to the side of the tyres afford a significant increase in
traction
-
Considering the whole drawing circumferential of the tyre, the extended tread
provides contact with the road surface, from side to side, of 350mm. (on a
tread width of 205mm, as in the 205R16 )
- Normally
the tyre manufacturers and the 4x4 experts recommend that off road, the tyre
pressure is lower so that the contact area increases, improving traction.
With RECIP
TRIAL 4x4, with lateral walls, the tyre pressure can be maintained on or off
road and, even if you decrease the pressure off road, the area which will be in
contact with the road, will increase and provide superior traction.
